This was our first time buying a house, so we wanted to make sure that we took our time during the process and made as informed of a decision as possible. Right away we knew that we made a wise decision choosing Elizabeth as our realtor. She took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for from the very beginning. At no point did we feel pressured or rushed along, and we truly got the sense that she cared more about finding the right home that met our specific criteria than making a quick sale. She never got frustrated if we weren't interested in any of the places shown to us, and she patiently answered all of our questions and walked us through every step of the process. Her responsiveness was outstanding during the search, and we had no trouble reaching her on nights and weekends. We had found one we liked very much, but someone else got there first and we thought we los it, but Elizabeth called us immediately when it came on the market again. She negotiated the sale for us. We asked Elizabeth again to help us find a house for a possible relocation of our daughter from the UK to the US. This was a very difficult task, since my daughter was trying to get a court approval to come to the US and get away from an abusive husband. Liz Dixon is knowledgeable, friendly, flexible and patient. We didn't quite have all our ducks in a row (weren't prequalified, were still debating WHETHER to buy, etc.) when we started working with her. Instead of dismissing us as real estate "tourists" (which a couple of other agents did), she took time to understand where we were "at".Then she gave us the time we needed to figure what we wanted and guided us through the process of buying our first home. Very good at hanging back and letting us explore/discuss various homes we considered privately. She does the unobtrusive-but-available thing well.The only time she rushed us, she was right to: we really liked a house, and she said we had to move fast. It sold the next day (to another bidder).Also, she never tried to steer us toward (or away from) one neighborhood or another. I have personal experience with agents who will use transparent "racial code" to try to appeal to racial anxieties I don't have and that I find distasteful. Liz Dixon didn't do this. She was a model of professionalism and ethical behavior in this regard.She helped us find others to work with (lender, title company, inspector, etc.) and we've been satisfied with all of them.She was available weekends and evenings, able to work around my sometimes difficult schedule. Quick responses to e-mails and texts: I don't recall ever waiting more than an hour for her to get back to us.She did well with the little personal touches, too. E.g. she arranged with the sellers to have my parents (in town for a visit) to come see the house after they accepted our bid.All in all, we had a very good experience with Liz and recommend her without reservation.
